Interests

Developed in vitro blood brain barrier model using inverted transwell system incorporating astrocytes, pericytes, microglia and brain microvascular endothelial cells. Developing my lab to take this approach forward in lung and muscle microvascular endotheial models incorporating pericytes and fibroblasts to investigate the pathophysiology of Long COVID.
