Interests

I am interested in modeling the impact of arthritic synovial inflammation on the heart using interconnected organ-on-a-chip systems. Microfluidics which are introduced through an ibidi pump-based system can connect the two organ models, enabling the study of complex multicellular interactions driving cardiac fibrosis. This model will provide valuable insights into disease mechanisms and serve as a platform for screening and evaluating new therapeutics for both arthritis treatment and cardiac protection.
