I have an interest in 3D models simulating rare skin disorders including models derived from patient keratinocytes and engineered models with stable knockdown or CrispR-Cas9 gene editing to simulate rare disease-causing variants. Disease interests include pachyonychia congenita, harlequin ichthyosis and epidermolysis bullosa.
