Interests
We develop advanced in vitro models of the human respiratory tract, capturing both healthy physiology and disease states. These models allow us to explore how airway tissues are organised, how they function at the molecular level, and how they respond to harmful exposures. By studying the mechanisms through which pollutants, drugs, and chemicals affect the airways, we aim to identify pathways of toxicity and opportunities for prevention. Our work is highly collaborative, partnering with pharmaceutical and consumer product companies to generate insights that support safer and more effective treatments.Publications
