Interests

My project aims to design organ-on-chip platforms to study soft-hard tissue interfaces, their formation and remodelling in pathological and physiological scenarios, and in response to a mechanical challenge. Furthermore, it aims to develop a biophysical model of gum reintegration on enamel using 3D printing of different biomaterials including PDMS and ceramics. I am interested in in vitro models' development and to learn more about the innovative technologies recently developed, in particular 3D printing.
