Opportunities for External Academics

The EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Next Generation Organ-on-a-chip Technology (COacT) provides opportunities for collaboration with academics both inside and outside of Queen Mary who are working in this field of organ-on-chip, organoids, new approach methodologies (NAMs), microphysiological systems and related complex in vitro models.

In particular, we have a number of CDT PhD studentships which are available to support collaborative research projects with academics outside of Queen Mary following the success of the UK Organ-on-a-Chip Technologies Network.

External academics wishing to be involved in supervising a PhD student at the CDT should identify a suitable academic in the Centre for Predictive in vitro Models and can then submit a PhD proposal form, ideally with an industry partner.
