Interests

I completed a PhD in Biotechnology at the University of Nottingham where my project focused on developing an innovative peptide hydrogel platform for 3D cell culture. That technology has now been commercialised through the newly-formed University of Nottingham spin-out company PeptiMatrix. Our hydrogels offer researchers a better way to create high-fidelity in vitro models without the need for animal-derived materials. My research interests lie in biomaterials, cancer biology, stem cell biology, and drug screening. I am also an advocate for non-animal technologies and a supporter of the 3Rs.
